Irene M. Maines, 84, of Clearfield died Thursday, Nov. 12, 2015 at her home.
Ms. Maines was born Feb. 16, 1931 in Curwensville, the daughter of William E. and Hannah (Jones) Maines.
She attended Fayette Resources, Hyde, adult day program and enjoyed doing crafts, including latch-hook rugs and loom rugs.
Ms. Maines is survived by a sister, Martha Lilley and her companion, Rodney Martell of Curwensville and numerous nieces and nephews, including Sandy Troy and her companion, Don Soliday of Grampian.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Aretta Siemucha; and seven brothers, William, Donald, Llewelyn, Elmer, Ray, Reuben and Luke Maines.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Bennett & Houser Funeral Home Inc. of Clearfield, with the Rev. Philip Colgan officiating. Burial will be at Crown Crest Memorial Park.
Friends will be received from 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. Sunday and from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
