CLEARFIELD – The Clearfield Arts Studio Theatre Inc. (CAST), 112 E. Locust St., in Clearfield, has announced upcoming events for November.
Friday Night Live! will return to the stage at 7:30 p.m. Friday. Comedian Gary Lauver will be the special guest artist. Lauver is a local performer known for his parody songs using popular tunes and changing the words to tell hilarious stories.
As always, Friday Night Live! is an open mic/variety show, and performers of all ages and styles are encouraged to be a part of this unique monthly event held at CAST. Friday Night Live! is family-friendly and PG-13.
Admission is $5 per person. Doors will open at 7 p.m.
On Saturday at 7:30 p.m., Twin Reverb will be rocking CAST with a little help from their friends. Chris and Richie Shaffer, Chase Wise and Zach Wood will be joining the local trio on stage, performing classic rock favorites from The Beatles, Led Zeppelin and more.
Admission is $5 per person. Doors will open at 7 p.m.
A Christian Music Celebration will take place at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 20. Local musicians and groups Logan Stover, ChristFirst, Heavenbound, Seventy Times Seven, Brothers Maines, and New Covenant will perform. Admission is $5 per person. Doors will open at 7 p.m.
Bluesjam returns to CAST for the first time since 2002 at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 27. Joel Mack, Mary Beth Geppert, Jason Sopic, Rich Horton, Eric Koval, Dana Neeper, Gregg Rich and Calvin Walls will be playing classic blues songs from artists, such as B.B. King, Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughn and many more.
A sampling will be provided by the Race Street Brewery. People can come relax and enjoy some classic blues after the hustle and bustle of Thanksgiving and Black Friday. Tickets are $5 per person. Doors will open at 7 p.m.
CAST will host a Penn State THON fundraiser being organized by Rachel Duke on Nov. 28 starting at 6 p.m. This night of music will feature a wide variety of music for people of all ages.
This event raises awareness for pediatric cancer, and all money raised will go towards Penn State’s THON for cancer research. Musicians being featured are Twin Reverb, Master Exploder, Oh Well, Strait Fire and more. Entry is $5 per person.
With the exception of the Penn State THON fundraiser, tickets for all the above concerts will benefit the Rejuvenate CAST initiative and can be purchased online at www.ClearfieldArts.org/tickets or at the box office the night of each event.
Rehearsals for “A Charlie Brown Christmas,” being performed by children and teens, are well under way, with performances Dec. 3-5 and Dec. 10-12 at 7 p.m. All Season Tickets will be honored for this production. The box office will be open to sell tickets for specific available seats on Nov. 12 from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. and Nov. 14 from 12 p.m. – 2 p.m., where cash, checks or credit cards will be accepted.
During these dates and times, tickets can also be exchanged for other available tickets. Tickets will be available at the box office each night of the show.
Tickets are $10 per person, and once tickets are purchased, there will be no refunds. The Box Office Manager reserves the right to sell tickets for any unoccupied seats 10 minutes prior to each show.
Due to the anticipated high demand of tickets for all CAST events, ticket reservations and exchanges by phone will no longer be accepted. Scheduled dates and times will be available to order and exchange tickets at the box office.
