Steve Allen Pepperday, 54, of Morrisdale died Monday, Nov. 2, 2015 at his residence. Born May 31, 1961 in Philipsburg, he was the son of John W. Pepperday and his wife, Patricia of Glass City and Lois Louise Showers Patrick of Houtzdale.
Mr. Pepperday was a member of the Philipsburg VFW Post No. 3450 and the Carpathian Club in Hawk Run. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, being with friends and NASCAR.
He is survived by his fiancée, Charlene G. Hubler of Morrisdale and two daughters, Kelly Pepperday of Hawk Run and Bethany Pepperday of Morrisdale.
He is also survived by two sisters, Darlene Harris and her husband, Christopher of Tyrone and Krista Ross and her husband, Leroy of Madera and a brother, Raymond Pepperday and his wife, Rainie of Louisiana.
Mr. Pepperday was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Francis and Isabell Showers and his paternal grandparents, George and Sue Pepperday.
A funeral service will be held at 8 p.m. Friday at the Strange & Weaver Funeral Home, Morrisdale, with Pastor Tina Hawkins officiating.
Friends will be received from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
