Mennow Nolt Jr., 74, of Karthaus died Sunday, Oct. 25, 2015 at his residence.
Born in September of 1941 in Lancaster County, he was a son of the late Mennow Sr. and Elizabeth (Weaver) Nolt.
Mr. Nolt was Mennonite by faith. He was self-employed in the wholesale grocery and bait supply business until his retirement.
He married the former Helen S. Witmer on Dec. 31, 1961 in Farmersville. She preceded him in death on April 13, 2010.
In addition to his parents and wife, Mr. Nolt was preceded in death by two sisters.
He is survived by a daughter, Bonnie Cox and her husband, Terry of Karthaus; a son, Ron Nolt and his wife, Kathy of Reamstown; five grandchildren; four brothers; and several nieces and nephews.
At Mr. Nolt’s request, there will be no public visitation or funeral.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
