CLEARFIELD – First Commonwealth Bank recently presented the Clearfield Soccer Association with a check for $10,000 for improvements and upgrades to its soccer complex near Coal Hill Road.
Presenting the check is Jamie Straub, vice president of business banking at First Commonwealth Bank and Jerad Rosendahl, senior wealth advisor for First Commonwealth Advisors. Receiving the contribution on behalf of the CSA is C. Alan Walker and Andy Spencer, co-chairmen of the 2015 Capital Campaign committee.
“It is with great pride that First Commonwealth Bank is able to offer our support of this outstanding program provided to the greater Clearfield area youth. It is because of organizations like the Clearfield Soccer Association, that we are able to inspire and coach the future leaders of our area,” stated Straub.
First Commonwealth Bank’s generous gift will be utilized to upgrade the entrance road into the facility, installing electric, as well as connecting the township sewer system to the existing field house. Other projects include handicap parking, a new maintenance storage shed, picnic pavilion and field development projects.
CSA President Bob Aleksivich added, “The CSA is grateful to First Commonwealth Bank for its generosity and community support to help us provide a top class complex that will serve our area youth for many years to come.”
