State police at Clearfield
- State police received a report about an alleged incident of criminal mischief that occurred sometime Friday or Saturday on Henderson Street in Houtzdale. During the incident, someone allegedly damaged the victim’s 2008 Dodge Viper. Damage, according to state police, allegedly included a broken taillight and rear spoiler and paint damage on the trunk. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police at Clearfield at 814-857-3800.
- State police received a report about an accident that occurred Saturday on the Philipsburg-Bigler Highway in Decatur Township. Marian S. Sidorick of West Decatur pulled out of a parking lot onto Route 322. However, she failed to observe a vehicle operated by Debra Aboussou of Ridgway, which was heading east toward Philipsburg. As a result, the Aboussou vehicle struck that operated by Sidorick in the 11 o’clock position. Upon impact the Sidorick vehicle spun in a clockwise direction before coming to a rest facing southeast in the center of Route 322. No injuries were reported in the accident; state police were assisted by Hope Fire Company, Moshannon Valley Emergency Medical Services and towing services.
- State police received a report about an alleged incident of assault/harassment that occurred Saturday in Coalport. During the incident, a Coalport man allegedly threatened the victim with physical bodily harm. He will be cited through the district court, state police said.
State police at DuBois
- State police received a report about an alleged incident of disorderly conduct that occurred Sunday on the Bennetts Valley Highway in Huston Township. During the incident, a DuBois man allegedly created a physically offensive condition by an act that served no legitimate purpose. More specifically, he allegedly removed the ignition keys from the victim’s vehicle, tossed them into a pile of junk and prevented the victim from leaving the scene.
State police at Philipsburg
- State police received a report about an alleged incident of theft by unlawful taking that occurred sometime Thursday or Friday in a wooded area long the Sandy Ridge Trail in Rush Township. During the incident, someone allegedly removed a tree stand that belonged to the victim from a tree where he’d placed it. On Friday it was turned into state police by another hunter and returned to the victim.
- State police received a report about an alleged incident of criminal mischief that occurred Oct. 18 on Hemlock Street in Rush Township. During the incident, someone allegedly deflated the front tires of the victim’s vehicle while it was parked in the driveway. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police at Philipsburg at 814-342-3370.
- State police received a report about an alleged incident of harassment that occurred Thursday at a Walnut Street residence in Rush Township. During the incident, a Philipsburg teen and the first victim allegedly engaged in a verbal altercation that turned physical. The teen allegedly punched the victim after he allegedly tried to keep her from leaving the residence. At that point, the second victim allegedly attempted to separate them, and was punched in the face by the teen. The teen has been charged with harassment through the district court, state police said.
Clearfield Borough
- Police responded to the hospital for a report about an alleged assault. The victim told police that he was attacked by a known male along Van Valzah Avenue. Police are continuing their investigation at this time.
- Police responded to Chester Street for a report about a two-vehicle accident. No injuries were reported as a result, and one vehicle was towed from the scene, police said.
- Police responded to a burning complaint along West Sixth Avenue.
- Police responded to an East Market Street residence for a psychological emergency. Crisis personnel were contacted to speak with the patient, police said.
- Police responded to the 600 block of Krebs Avenue for a report about a suspicious male. However, the male was gone upon police arrival.
- Police responded to Linden Street for a report about a missing juvenile. Officers located the juvenile and returned him home without incident.
- Police responded to an active alarm along North Second Street. Upon arrival police found that it was a false alarm.
- A cell phone was located at the hospital and turned into police. The owner can claim the phone at the Clearfield Borough police station.
- Police responded to a local establishment for an alleged retail theft incident. Officers were able to identify the female actor on camera and then responded to her residence. The female was allegedly found to be in possession of the stolen item. Charges for retail theft were filed on the actor, police said.
- Police responded to a welfare check, and the patient was found to be OK.
- Police responded to a parking lot along Nichols Street for a vehicle lockout. Officers were able to gain entry into the vehicle without causing damage.
- Police responded to a West Pine Street residence for a report about an unresponsive male who had been huffing “Duster.” Officers made contact with the male who was transported by emergency personnel to the hospital.
- Police responded to a traffic complaint along East Market Street. Officers conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle along Van Valzah Avenue. Charges are to be filed, police said.
Lawrence Township
- Police received a report about a hit-and-run accident that occurred at the Clearfield Area Junior-Senior High School on Thursday.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of harassment that occurred at an elder care facility.
- Police responded to a business along Daisy Street Extension. Upon arrival police found an employee who had not been provided a pass code.
- Police received a burning complaint that occurred on Woodland Road.
- Police responded to Edgewood for two, separate alleged incidents of theft.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of harassment that occurred at Wal-Mart.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of theft at Wal-Mart. However, police determined it was a civil issue.
- Police received a report about a disorderly male on Turnpike Avenue.
- Police received a report about suspicious activity at McDonalds on South Second Street.
- Police handled an alleged domestic dispute at the scene on Turnpike Avenue.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of harassment that occurred in the Shaw Street area.

DuBois City
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of criminal mischief that occurred in the 200 block of South Jared Street. The complainant told police that someone had smashed pumpkins on her vehicle sometime overnight. Police were provided with the name of a possible suspect and are reviewing surveillance from the area.
- On Friday police received a report about an alleged ongoing incident of harassment. A female told police that a known male has continued to text-message her and leave letters on her vehicle after being told numerous times to stop. Police are continuing their investigation, and charges are pending at this time.
