GRAMPIAN – The Grampian Fall Festival will be held from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. Oct. 17 at the Grampian Park.
The festival will be “a day of genuine family fun.” It will get back to “our roots” and celebrate the last farmer’s market with vendors, live music, hay rides and a fall-themed family photo shoot.
As well, there will be food and craft vendors and fun games for the kids. It has a musical line-up, including Chloe and Chantel Tubbs, Chris Hepfer and country stars Joe Quick and Annie Morgan.
Anyone who is feeling up to the challenge is invited to enter the pie-baking contest or the chili cook-off. There will also be pumpkin decorating and apple cider demonstrations
After the festival, there will be “some adult fun” with the Mint Condition Pub Run to benefit the Grampian Fire Company. The run will start at Irvin Park at 5:30 p.m., and it will include three stops in Curwensville and end with an after party at the Curwensville Moose.
Anyone with interest in being a vendor for the market, signing up for the contests or participating in the run is asked to contact Mint Condition at 814-236-0700 or at themintsportschiro@gmail.com.
