CLEARFIELD – Christian Rubbe attended the Clearfield County Career & Technology Center (CCCTC) for two years and recently graduated in June. He was a student in the automotive mechanics program.
During his time at the CCCTC, Rubbe said the experience he gained was very helpful, especially the way his teacher ran his program, which was just like a dealership shop.
Rubbe explained that in itself helped him get hired at Dotts Motor Company Inc. in Clearfield. Tom Dotts, owner of Dotts Motor Company Inc., said that he hires CCCTC grads because he knows the kids have a good work ethic and want to work.
Rubbe is only one example of how CCCTC graduates use their education to strengthen the industry in their field of study.
