DUBOIS – A DuBois woman is accused of accosting a nurse during a visit to the Emergency Room.
According to an affidavit of probable cause, filed with District Judge Patrick Ford’s office Sept. 20, Julie L. Whetsell, 24, 281 Kilmer Rd., DuBois, is charged with assault and harassment.
According to the affidavit, on Sept. 9, the victim entered room three in the Emergency Department to give medication to Whetsell.
When the victim entered, Whetsell allegedly jumped on the victim’s back, grabbed the victim by the neck and bit the victim on the back.
While other staff members tried to get Whetsell off the victim, Whetsell allegedly bit the victim a second time on the wrist, breaking the skin. The victim had to be treated in the emergency room for injuries allegedly sustained in the attack.
