State police at Clearfield
- An incident of harassment occurred Sept. 19 on Patty Lane in Curwensville. During the incident, an Olanta woman allegedly engaged in a verbal argument with the victim. It turned physical when she allegedly knocked him to the ground and struck him in the face. She was charged through the district court, state police said.
- An incident of criminal trespass occurred Tuesday on Main Street in Coalport Borough. During the incident, a male and female allegedly gained entry to a lower level apartment. The apartment had been vacant for several years after a fire, state police said, and it is in the process of being remodeled. The male and female didn’t have permission from the owner to be inside. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police at Clearfield at 814-857-3800.
State police at Punxsutawney
- An incident of public drunkenness occurred Monday on Route 310 near its intersection with Adrian Road in Young Township. During the incident, a Punxsutawney male was allegedly staggering along the berm of the roadway. Upon arrival to the scene, state police allegedly determined he was intoxicated. He was cited for the incident, state police said.
State police at Ridgway
- An incident of harassment and criminal mischief occurred Monday on Route 3001 in Millstone Township. During the incident, a Brookville woman allegedly arrived and used her body to cause damage to the front door of a residence. She and the victim allegedly engaged in a verbal argument, which became physical. Charges were filed against the woman through the district court, state police said.
DuBois City
- Police received a report about a psychological emergency Friday on Rumbarger Avenue. Further, a male was reportedly threatening to harm himself. Police made contact with the male who was transported to the hospital for an evaluation.
- Police received a report about a two-vehicle accident Friday that occurred on East Park Avenue. Police assisted the drivers with exchanging vehicle information. No injuries were reported, and both vehicles were driven from the scene, police said.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of harassment by communications on Friday. Further, a female told police that her ex-boyfriend continues to harass her with phone calls and voice messages. Police made contact with him and advised to have no further contact.
- Police were dispatched to check the welfare of a female Friday in the S&T Bank parking lot on Liberty Boulevard. The female was reportedly in the drive-up lane and sending an empty tube to employees inside. She then allegedly sent a stuffed animal inside the tube. The female left the scene prior to police arrival but was located at her residence.
- Police were dispatched to the parking lot of the U.S. Post Office Monday to check the welfare of a female who was sitting inside a vehicle. Upon arrival police made contact with the female who wasn’t in any need of police assistance. Police found she was waiting for the post office to open.
- Police have initiated an investigation into an alleged string of thefts from vending machines in DuBois City. Further, someone has either allegedly attempted to or has broken into several vending machines. Police have obtained surveillance video and are attempting to identify the suspect(s). A small amount of cash was removed from the machines, police said.
- Police were dispatched to the area of East Park Avenue and Rose Alley Monday to check the welfare of a man who was standing there and who appeared to be confused. Police made contact with the male who was waiting for the bus. He was found to be OK and didn’t need police assistance.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of criminal mischief Monday to a vehicle on North Park Place. The victim told police that her rag top Jeep Wrangler had its rear windshield cut and its tailgate was keyed. No items were stolen from the Jeep, police said, noting there hasn’t been an arrest made in relation to the incident.
- On Monday police were dispatched to Hahne Court for a 10-year-old girl who was reportedly walking with an 18-month-old without any shoes or parent supervision. Police were able to locate the children with their mother near Giant Eagle. The mother told police what they were doing, and police found they were being cared for and safe.
