HUNTINGDON — The Clearfield Bison Junior Varsity football team took the long trek to Huntingdon on Monday night and lost a heartbreaker 7-6 to the host Bearcats to drop to 1-2 on the season.
Clearfield scored a defensive touchdown in the fourth quarter to take a 6-0 lead when Dylan Wilt recovered a fumble in the Huntingdon endzone.
The lead was short-lived as Huntingdon scored on a 52-yard touchdown pass and tacked on the extra point to set the final at 7-6.
The Bison (1-2) are off next week and will host Bellefonte in two weeks on Monday October 12.
