CLEARFIELD – The “Save the Ritz” Committee hosted a reception at the Ritz Theater Sept. 13 and honored those individuals and businesses that purchased the black granite stones, which are now placed under the marquee.
The sales started in late 2013, and all stones were finally sold this year in time to coordinate with the downtown streetscape project. The Ritz Theater, the Clearfield Borough Office, M&B Services Concrete Construction, Cuetara-Hile, Tony Puccio and Jimmy Collins coordinated efforts to bring this fundraiser to fruition.
“It took many hours of hard work from everyone involved, and the committee is so very grateful to the individuals and businesses. We are equally appreciative of those who so skillfully and beautifully completed the placement,” said Pamela Babick, “Save the Ritz” chair.
