Elk County Toastmasters is pleased to welcome new member Cortney Foote of St. Marys.
She is a 2015 graduate of the Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where she completed her Bachelor of Science degree in education with a certification in PK-12 music education.
She is currently serving as a substitute teacher for local schools.
Foote was introduced to Toastmasters through the Leaders in Training II program, while she was a student at Elk County Catholic High School.
She enjoyed the Toastmasters component and decided to join the local Elk County Chapter when given the opportunity.
She plans on becoming a speaker for Family Honor and knows that further developing her public speaking abilities will aid her in this endeavor, as well as in her teaching.
