CLARION, Pa. – After a 42-7 thumping of No. 9 Redbank Valley, Karns City remains No. 1 in the Sept. 14 D9Sports.Com District 9 football rankings.
The Top 10 saw a lot of other movement as well including Keystone moving into the Top 10 for the first time this season after a big win over No. 5 Punxsutawney. The Panthers are in at No. 8. Clarion jumps up to No. 4, Kane is up at No. 5, Curwensville is in at No. 6 and St. Marys at No. 7 after wins. DuBois drops from No. 4 to No. 9 after giving up 107 points to Meadville – the Beavers did score 90 – with Redbank Valley dropping one spot to 10th.
A big Top 10 matchup happens in the KSAC Small School Division when Keystone travels to Redbank Valley with a possible KSAC playoff berth on the line even though it’s only Week 3. Also in the Top 10, St. Marys travels to Karns City.
