Spring Mills — The Clearfield Junior Varsity football team opened up their 2015 season with a 21-6 road win over the Penns Valley Rams on Monday evening.
Ty Bender acoounted for all three Bison touchdowns, scoring on runs of two, 18, and seven yards.
Spencer Graham ran in a 2-point conversion and Jake Sorbera kicked an extra point to complete the Bison scoring.
Jake Robinson had a fumble recovery in the 4th quarter to aid the Bison “D”.
The Bisons (1-0) will host the Central Dragons next Monday at 6:00 p.m.
