CLEARFIELD — A nine-inning game Saturday afternoon will highlight the 11th annual Bison Baseball Alumni Weekend for former Clearfield Area High School players.
The first pitch will be delivered at 12:05 at the Lawrence Township Recreation Park Field.
Most Valuable Player, Gold Glove, and Rookie-of-the-Year awards for both teams will be presented immediately after the game.
All players and guests are invited to a dinner and social that will begin at approximately 4:30 at the Clearfield VFW picnic grounds.
Players should report to the field at 10:30 a.m. for distribution of shirts and caps, and group photographs will be taken at 11, with a Home Run Derby to follow at 11:15.
A batting practice session is slated for Friday at 5 p.m., with a social to follow.
Coach Sid Lansberry noted a $50 donation will cover all of the festivities as well as membership in the Bison Baseball Alumni Association.
Former players, as well as Bison fans, wishing to just join the BBAA can do so with a $25 donation.
Checks should be made out to Clearfield Baseball Association.
