State police at Clearfield
- A drug violation occurred Aug. 23 at the State Correctional Institution at Houtzdale. Further, a search of a Lebanon man’s vehicle allegedly turned up 11 balloons of marijuana that he was attempting to smuggle into SCI Houtzdale to an inmate. The incident remains under investigation with charges pending at this time, state police said.
- An incident of criminal mischief occurred Wednesday on Sanborn Street in Decatur Township. During the incident, someone allegedly burned a tire designed for a Ford F250 that the victim had stored at his residence. Damage is estimated at $230; the incident remains under investigation at this time, state police said.
Lawrence Township
- Police conducted multiple warrant services throughout Lawrence Township. All individuals were lodged in the Clearfield County Jail.
- Police received a report about a lost/stolen registration plate. Anyone who finds the plate is asked to notify township police.
- Police received a traffic complaint that occurred on Shaw Street.
- Police received a report about the alleged interference with the custody of a child.
