CLEARFIELD – Twelve winning photographs were recently selected to be featured in the 2016 CNB Bank wall calendars.
Local residents, whether beginner, amateur or professional photographers, were encouraged to submit one or two of their photos via the bank’s Web site at www.BankCNB.com throughout the past two months.
The 2016 calendar features photos with the theme of “Local Water Landscapes.” More than 200 entries were received, but one stood out as Judge’s Best of Show, which was submitted by Jackie Anderson of Penfield.
Her photo, entitled “Pete Buck Hollow”, will be featured on the cover of the 2016 wall calendars, as well as inside the calendar for the month of May.
The other 11 months of the year will feature photographs submitted by Daniel Wells and Anju Jolly of DuBois, Phyllis Shaffer of Penfield, Greg Bell of Eldred, Wendy Bechtold of Morrisdale, Carol Adam of Madera, Tiffany Shoffner of Morgantown, Tammy Smith of Brookville, David Whiteman of Centre Hall, Sandra Owens of Clearfield and Joel Buchanan of Commodore.
In addition, 24 photographs earned honorable mention and will be displayed on a special page of the calendar. Those photographs were taken by Allen Dixon, Craig Sattesahn, Joni Bartell, Tim Yarnal, Katie Shank, Cindy Reams, Mike Bayer, Zack Whitney, James A. Merritt, Janet Blessel, Margaret R. Conaway, Dan Mohney, Joel Buchanan, Kyle Yates, Rian Rich, William Thrush, Magaly Johnson, Daniel Robinson, Rachel Davidson, Rocky Holland, Nathan Bottorf, Jackie Anderson and Autumn Dempsey.
CNB thanks these and all individuals who submitted an entry to continue to make this calendar so popular among customers.
CNB Bank initiated this contest to provide an avenue to feature local talent and the communities in which the bank serves through the eyes of residents, as they’ve captured with their camera and continued due to its success.
Calendars will be available to pick up at all CNB branch locations after Nov. 1.
The 2017 CNB calendar theme will be “Bridges,” so begin planning to save your photos to enter in next year’s calendar photo contest.
