Dianne R. Evans, 70, of Morrisdale died Thursday, Aug. 20, 2015 at her residence.
Born Oct. 3, 1944 in Detroit, Mich., she was a daughter of the late Clayton and Norma (Schnarrs) Brown.
Mrs. Evans was a 1963 graduate of Philipsburg High School. She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene, Philipsburg.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed playing bingo.
On June 10, 1963 in Philipsburg, she married to Richard “Rich” Evans, who survives at home.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by five children, Richard Evans Jr. and his wife, Maria of Boston, Mass., Dianne R. Maines and Theresa Evans, both of Tyrone, Timothy Evans Sr. and his wife, Helene of Lancaster and Christine Maines of Altoona.
She is survived by six brothers and sisters, Rena Hull and Linda Doxstater, both of Philipsburg, LeRoy Brown and his wife, Barbara of Frenchtown, NJ, Darlene Proffit of Boardman, Ohio, Gloria Hawks of California and Larry Brown of Philipsburg and his wife, Phyllis of Morrisdale.
She is survived by nine grandchildren, Michael Boulton Jr., Angela Maines, Maddeline Evans, Timothy Evans Jr., Ariel Maines, Timothy Maines Jr., Shantell Maines, David Evans and Jonathan Smith; three great-grandchildren, Whitney Evans, Christian Ricketts and Skylar Ricketts; and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Evans was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Walter Brown and George Brown; a sister, Joyce Marshall; and a granddaughter, Faith Boulton.
Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. Monday at the David K. Dahlgren Funeral Home, 228 N. Centre St., Philipsburg, with the Rev. John Versaw officiating.
Friends will be received from 4 p.m. – 6 p.m. Monday prior to the service at the funeral home.
