CLEARFIELD – Officials with the Clearfield Area School District have announced important dates for the 2015-16 school year for parents and students.
These dates include that:
- The first student day will be Aug. 31; the last student day will be June 3, 2016.
- Kindergarten orientation will be from 8:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. Aug. 24 for students with the last name of A-L. It will be held at the Clearfield Area Elementary School.
- Kindergarten orientation will be from 8:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. Aug. 25 for students with the last name of M-Z. It will be held at the CAES.
- Seventh grade orientation will be at 7 p.m. Aug. 25 at the Clearfield Area Junior-Senior High School auditorium. All seventh grade students will pick-up their schedules at this time.
- Schedules and yearbooks for grades eighth through twelve can be picked up from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. and from 1 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. Aug. 24-25 at the CAJSHS guidance office.
For 2015-16, students in grades K-6 will start school at 8:45 a.m. and end at 3:30 p.m. In grades 7-12, students will start at 7:40 a.m. and end at 2:50 p.m.
