Sportsmen’s Club Announces Groundhog Match Results

The Anderson Creek Sportsmen’s Club recently held its first-ever Groundhog Match. Competitors were from Pennsylvania, Virginia and Ohio, and a total of 84 targets were shot.

The results are:

Unlimited Class

1. Jeff Gates of Altoona
2. Joe Reffner of Altoona
3. George Polenik of Indiana

Factory Class:  

1. Tom Hamilton of Curwensville
2. Matt Hamilton of Fairlawn, Ohio
3. Jeff Gates of Altoona

The club has two more Groundhog Matches this year.  The dates are Sept. 20 and Oct. 18. The public is invited to come out and compete in both matches.
