Will Vice President Joe Biden run for president? No one knows for sure, but he has been calling some political supporters who are gaming out what a campaign would look like.
That new buzz has the odds of a Biden run way up on Pivit, an interactive game that combines public opinion, news and data to produce the live odds of election outcomes.
The buzz has boosted Biden’s odds from 45% earlier this month.
And a Biden run wouldn’t necessarily spell trouble for Hillary Clinton, Democrats’ clear front-runner. Pivit’s prognosticators suggested earlier this month about that “Clinton’s chance to win the nomination would still at least be in the high 70s, and more likely low 80s, if Biden announced he was running.”
Live odds change as the public weighs in on the increasing or decreasing chance that a candidate or party wins an election. Players can forecast when the odds will change and compete with friends and experts to climb to the top of the leaderboard.
