Joseph M. Johnson, 56, of Madera died Thursday, Aug. 13, 2015 at UPMC Altoona.
Born March 12, 1959 in Clearfield, he was the son of Glenn C. Johnson of Madera and the late Ethel (McMurray) Johnson.
He was a 1977 graduate of Moshannon Valley High School.
He was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church, Houtzdale. He was a carpenter by trade.
Friends will be received from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and from 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. Monday and from 9:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Kruise-Spewock Funeral & Cremation Services Inc., Ramey.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Christ the King Catholic Church, Houtzdale, with Fr. Marc J. Solomon as celebrant. Burial will follow in the St. Lawrence Cemetery, Houtzdale.
