Richard Dotts, 66, of Curwensville died Saturday, Aug. 8, 2015 at the Penn Highlands Clearfield Hospital. Born June 15, 1949 in Clearfield, he was the son of Lemoyne and Thelma (Round) Dotts.
Mr. Dotts was retired from the Penn Highlands Clearfield Hospital after working in the custodial/maintenance departments.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He was also a member of the Curwensville First Baptist Church.
Surviving are two sisters, Gloria Barrett and her husband, John of Flinton and Patricia Whitaker of Clearfield. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and five brothers Milford, Samuel, Dennis, Timothy and David Dotts.
Graveside Committal Services for Mr. Dotts will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the Chapel at Bloomington Cemetery with the Rev. Daniel Osterhout officiating. Burial will follow in the cemetery.
At the request of Mr. Dotts, there will be no public visitation.
