CLEARFIELD – Art, live music, tasty festival fare and the company of old and new friends are all reasons to visit the first-ever Clearfield Art on the River Today (ART) Festival.
The Clearfield ART festival will take place from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Aug. 22 in downtown Clearfield. It is being hosted by the Clearfield Revitalization Corp. (CRC) and The Liddle Gallery.
“We have a full day of children’s activities, a gallery exhibition, over 30 talented artists and artisans demonstrating their work and more along Market Street,” said Main Street Manager Loretta Wagner.
“There will be lots of great food and plenty of entertainment. There will be a literature venue, a media and film-making venue and a performance arts venue, which includes music, dance, theater and a puppet show.”
This “family-friendly event” will be held on East Market Street between Front and Second streets, and it will offer “something for everyone,” she said. Wagner added that admission is free to the Clearfield ART festival.
According to Wagner, children will enjoy art-related activities that will be sponsored by Cen-Clear Child Services and The Liddle Gallery. She said there will also be additional music- and art-related activities, including an open sip and doodle inside The Liddle Gallery.
