Jean Bashore Shaw, 85, of Osceola Mills died Monday, Aug. 3, 2015 at Christ the King Manor, DuBois.
Born Aug. 4, 1929 in Hummelstown, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Florence Gibboney Bashore.
Mrs. Shaw was formerly of Ginter. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Shaw was an avid collector o John Wayne memorabilia.
She was married to Robert A. Shaw Sr. on Oct. 23, 1953. He preceded her in death on June 9, 2012.
She is survived by two daughters, Beth Lovell and her husband, Jeff of Chambersburg and Jean Gray of Clearfield and two sons, Robert A. Shaw Jr. and his wife, Nicole of Osceola Mills and Richard Shaw and his wife, Alana of Drexel Hill.
Mrs. Shaw is also survived by a sister, Betty Osburne of Augusta, Ky.; two brothers, Dale Bashore and Frank Bashore, both of Omaha, Neb.; two grandchildren, Robert Shaw III of State College and Zack Lovell and his wife, Kari of Chambersburg; and a great-grandson, Gavin Lovell of Chambersburg.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband; a great-grandson, Kameron Lovell; a sister, Mary Dixon and a brother, Raymond Bashore.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family with the Rev. John T. Dill officiating. Burial will be in the Reidy Cemetery, Wallaceton.
There will not be any public visitation.
