State police at Clearfield
- An incident of harassment occurred Monday at the First Commonwealth Bank in Houtzdale Borough. During the incident, a male allegedly came through the drive-up ATM and got upset with the tellers. He allegedly told the tellers that he was going home to get a gun, which caused the bank to go under a lockdown. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police at Clearfield at 814-857-3800.
- An incident of harassment occurred Sunday on Berwind Street in Irvona Borough. During the incident, two Irvona men allegedly engaged in a physical altercation.
- An incident of criminal mischief occurred sometime between Friday and Monday on Scott Lane in Decatur Township. During the incident, someone allegedly keyed the rear end of the victim’s vehicle, causing damage. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police at Clearfield at 814-857-3800.
State police at DuBois
- An incident of theft occurred sometime between Friday and Monday on Viaduct Road in Bloom Township. During the incident, someone allegedly removed diesel fuel from a PennDOT truck. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police at DuBois at 814-371-4652.
Lawrence Township
- Police received a traffic complaint that occurred on Highview Road.
- Police received a report about a vehicle traveling after it had caught fire on the Clearfield Bypass.
- Police were requested to check the welfare of a female on Highview Road. Further, police found the female to be intoxicated.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of littering that occurred at a business along the Clearfield-Shawville Highway.
- Police received a report about an animal call and alleged harassment. Further, someone allegedly put dog feces on the victim’s property in Hyde.
- Police received a report about a lost wallet.
- Police received a report about suspicious findings in a cemetery in Hyde.
- Police received a report about a vehicle fire on the Clearfield Bypass.
- Police received a report about suspicious findings at Sheetz on the Clearfield-Shawville Highway.
- Police received a report about a dog that was locked inside a vehicle.
- Police received a report about a suspicious male near South Second Street.
- Police were requested to check the welfare of a male on Route 322. Upon arrival police located a juvenile male and transported him to his residence.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of underage consumption. Further, police determined that the incident occurred outside of the township’s jurisdiction.
DuBois City
- Police were dispatched for a report about a person who was in distress Monday in the area of the Tannery Dam. Police were advised a female was heard screaming between the 300 and 400 blocks of First Street. Upon arrival in the area, police made contact with a female who stated there hadn’t been anyone screaming.
- Police were notified about wires down Monday on DuBois Street in front of True Value. Police indicated that it caused power outages in the area, which included traffic signals at several intersections. Police provided traffic control and received assistance from the DuBois City Fire Department and Penelec.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of harassment by communications on Monday. Further, police found that two females had allegedly exchanged insulting text messages. Police advised the females to cease contact with each other.
- Police received a report about a hit-and-run accident involving city property on Monday. A witness told police that a truck tractor with a flatbed trailer was pulling from Jared Street onto West Park Avenue when it knocked down a stop sign. However, its operator fled the area. Anyone with information is asked to contact city police at 814-765-1533.
- Police received a report about a suspicious package that was delivered Monday to a residence in the 100 block of East Park Avenue. Police checked the contents of the package and cleared the scene without incident.
- Police received a report about an alleged domestic disturbance Monday in the 100 block of Quarry Avenue. Upon arrival police found a male had fled the scene. Police said a female didn’t want to pursue charges but requested information about obtaining a protection from abuse order.
- Police received a report about a burning complaint Monday on Williams Street. A male told police that his house was filled with smoke due to his neighbor’s fire. Police made contact with his neighbor and advised of the city ordinance. However, police were called a second time about the fire, which was then extinguished.
