Donna J. Dressler Bish, 93, of Rockton died Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at the DuBois Nursing Home.
Born in Rockton on July 20, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Ruben Chester and Nellie Lucille (Bailey) Brubaker.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Kenneth N. Dressler on Jan. 4, 1996 and her second husband, Harold T. Bish on May 10, 2009.
She was a DuBois Area High School graduate of the class of 1940. She had attended DuBois Business College.
She had worked as a secretary to the superintendent for the DuBois School District and retired in 1984. Prior to that, she had worked at the Courier-Express and the DuBois Hospital.
She was a member of the Home Camp United Methodist Church, where she served as past treasurer.
She was a state and county member of the Pennsylvania School Employee Association, a past treasurer of the DuBois School Retirees and past treasurer of the Rockton Cemetery Association.
She is survived by two sons, K. Doyle Dressler and his wife, Jean of DuBois and Dennis L. Dressler and his wife, Janie of Rockton; two step-sons, Alan Hall or Erie and Frederick Bish of DuBois; and three step-daughters, Debbie Donahue of DuBois, Kathleen Bender of Rockton and Linda D’Imperio of Florida.
She is also survived by five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 14 step-grandchildren, 21 step-great-grandchildren; one step-great-great-grandchild; one sister, Beverly Benson and her husband, William of Zanesville, Ohio; and one brother, Edwin Brubaker and his wife, Carol of Rockton.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Doyle and Kay Brubaker.
Friends will be received from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. Thursday at the Goble-Baronick Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Home Camp United Methodist Church with Pastor Rick Howe officiating.
Burial will follow in Rockton Cemetery.
