Socializing with people you’re paid to argue with publicly can be awkward. But when one of those people is Paul Begala, it isn’t awkward; it’s alarmingly easy.
Paul is always smiling, which is quite a feat considering the amount of time people like him and I have to spend talking about Washington. My brow is permanently furrowed.
Turns out, Paul’s even happier when he’s on the water. For this episode of “Outside with Insiders,” Paul took me out to experience one of the great Virginia traditions — the Shad Run. And I actually got a two-fer — Paul’s son John, an Alaska fishing guide, came along, too.
So what happens when two Begalas and one Cupp go fishing in the middle of a presidential election?
Watch and see.
