CLEARFIELD – The Clearfield Area School District will auction off school building furnishings and equipment along with the Centre Elementary School in August, according to Superintendent Terry Struble.
A school dispersal auction will start at 8 a.m. Aug. 15 at the Clearfield Area Middle School at 602 Mill Rd., Clearfield. It will include surplus furnishings as well as kitchen and wood shop equipment.
A school dispersal auction will start at 8 a.m. Aug. 22 at the Centre Elementary School at 2075 Highview Rd., Clearfield. It will include cafeteria equipment, furniture, etc.
At 11 a.m., the school, which is located on 8.3 acres, will be auctioned off. It has 15 classrooms with offices, a staged gymnasium, kitchen, restrooms and an exterior modular classroom.

In 2014-15, the district consolidated its classrooms into renovated and expanded school buildings on the Clearfield Area Junior-Senior High and Clearfield Area Elementary campuses.
