At least 25 people were killed and 10 others injured in a suicide attack near a U.S. base in eastern Afghanistan, officials said.
A suicide car bomb went off near a coalition forces base in the city of Khost on Sunday evening, according to Faizullah Ghairat, police chief of Khost Province.
No Americans or other members of the NATO-led mission in Afghanistan were wounded in the attack, the U.S. military said.
It wasn’t immediately clear who was responsible for the attack.
