CLEARFIELD – The public is invited to welcome author and former resident, Allison Crotzer Kimmel, for a second visit to the Joseph & Elizabeth Shaw Public Library.
Kimmel will share with attendees “five things that everyone should know about writing and publishing a book.” The event is also open to all ages. A book signing will follow the brief presentation.
Kimmel visited the Shaw Public Library during the summer of 2014 and the attendees had an enjoyable evening of learning and visiting with the author.
This year the event promises to be just as interesting and informative. “The library hopes that many local area residents will attend the event,” stated Paula Collins, library director, “Allison is a very engaging presenter and the program will be entertaining for all ages.”
This special event will be held on July 20 at 6:30 p.m. Since the library is closed on Monday evenings, the doors will open at 6 p.m. for attendees of the event. Other library services will not be available during event hours.
Shaw Public Library is open Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m., Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m., and Fridays from 12 p.m. until 5 p.m. For questions about author visit, please call 814-765-3271.
