John Joseph “Jack” Andrejcik, 82, of Morrisdale died Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at his residence in Morrisdale. Born May 5, 1933, he was the son of the late Stephen and Mary Pirow Andrejcik.
He was a member of the St. Agnes Roman Catholic Church, Morrisdale. He was a graduate of the Morris Township High School and the Penn State University.
He was a veteran of the Korean War and served in the U.S. Air Force. He retired as an electrical engineer from the former Quehanna Manufacturing.
He is survived by a brother, Joseph J. Andrejcik of Morrisdale.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Helen Barnyak, Theresa Bristow and Margaret Yanock and five brothers, William, Edward, Paul, Alfred and Steve.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the St. Agnes Roman Catholic Church, Morrisdale, with Father Robert J. Horgas as celebrant. Burial will be in the St. Agnes Roman Catholic Cemetery, Morrisdale.
Friends will be received from 9 a.m. – 10:45 a.m. Friday at the Strange & Weaver Funeral Home, Morrisdale. The Rosary will be said at 9:15 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Graveside military honors will be accorded by the Moshannon Valley Independent Honor Guard.
