State police at Clearfield
- An incident of criminal mischief and disorderly conduct occurred Tuesday on Route 322 near the West Decatur intersection in Boggs Township. During the incident, three teens allegedly damaged the victim’s flower pots for no legitimate purpose, as well as put twigs on the highway. Total restitution is approximately $100 for the flower pots, state police said. All three teens were cited for the incident.
- An incident of theft by unlawful taking occurred sometime between Monday and Wednesday on Gillingham Road in Girard Township. During the incident, someone allegedly stole the victim’s prescribed medication. The incident remains under investigation, and anyone with information is asked to contact the state police at Clearfield at 814-857-3800.
State police at Philipsburg
- An incident of simple assault occurred June 22 in the 400 block of South Centre Street in Philipsburg Borough. During the incident, known actors allegedly engaged in a verbal argument that turned physical. Both actors sustained injuries, state police said.
- An incident of retail theft occurred June 24 at the Snappy’s Convenience Store in Rush Township. During the incident, someone allegedly removed items without paying. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police at Philipsburg at 814-342-3370.
- An incident of burglary occurred June 26-27 at the Unionville Borough building in Unionville Borough. During the incident, someone allegedly broke into the storage shed behind the building. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police at Philipsburg at 814-342-3370.
Sandy Township
- Police were called to a Northwood Avenue residence for an alleged domestic dispute on Monday. Further, a 44-year-old woman told police that her 49-year-old boyfriend had been drinking and fighting with her. She locked herself in the bedroom and called police. Police handled the situation without incident.
- On Monday a Central Christian Drive resident alleged that someone had been removing property stakes and no trespassing signs from her yard.
- A 90-year-old Rockton woman ran her vehicle over a curb while she was attempting to turn into the DuBois Mall on Tuesday. This caused her vehicle to get stuck on the curb with a flat tire. No injuries were reported and the vehicle was towed from the scene, police said.
