Clarion– Clarion University has maintained registration with Certified Financial PlannerĀ Board of Standards Inc. to provide a personal financial planning program, which is aĀ concentration in their undergraduate BSBA finance degree.
An independent certifying organization, CFP Board owns the CFP(r) and CertifiedĀ Financial PlannerTM certification marks, which it awards to individuals who meet itsĀ education, examination, experience, ethics and other requirements. StudentsĀ completing the financial planning program at Clarion University will have met theĀ education requirement for CFP(r) Certification Examination administered by CFPĀ Board.
“CFP Board is pleased to have an educational institution of the caliber of ClarionĀ University of Pennsylvania offering a CFP Board-registered program,” said Richard P.Ā Rojeck, CFP(r), chair of CFP Board’s board of directors. “As student interest inĀ financial planning as a career continues to grow, we anticipate that ClarionĀ University’s program will contribute significantly to the number of qualifiedĀ candidates seeking to attain the CFP(r) certification, the standard of excellenceĀ for competent and ethical financial planning.”

Just this past February we participatedĀ in the Second Annual FASTech FinancialĀ Ā Ā Planning Competition, where our students took home the overall first place trophy. “We are excited with the successes of our current students and look forward to evenĀ greater success down the road.”
