Charlotte A. Turner, age 88, of Bigler, passed away Monday, June 22, 2015 at Tyrone Hospital.
She was born May 17, 1927 in Bradford Township; daughter of the late Thelma (Owens) Butler.
Mrs. Turner was a homemaker and a skilled breakfast cook at many restaurants.
She was a Methodist by faith, a member of the Lady’s Coffee League Bowling, and enjoyed weaving rag rugs.
Survivors include three sons: Daniel, and wife, Connie of Bigler, Tim and wife,
Debra of Woodland, and Michael and wife, Kathy of Clearfield; one daughter: Dawn Marie Gearhart, and husband Jim of Woodland; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two brothers: Herschel Butler and Hayden Butler; and one sister: Ruth Ann Bordas.
She was preceded in death by her mother; husband, Doyle Turner, who passed away in 1980; and grandson, Michael Turner.
Funeral services will be held at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home on Thursday, June 25, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend John White officiating.
Friends and family are invited to the funeral home Wednesday, June 24, 2015 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.; and Thursday, June 25, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home in Clearfield.
