Is Janet Jackson coming to your town?

We’ve “Missed You Much,” Janet Jackson.

That’s fans’ reaction now that tour dates have been announced for Jackson’s “Unbreakable World Tour.” The star hasn’t toured in years, and fans are hyped that she will once again hit the road.

Jackson will play her first tour date in Vancouver, British Columbia, on August 31 before heading across the country to play in cities like Cincinnati, Miami, Atlanta, New Orleans, Denver and Chicago. All of the dates and ticket information were posted Monday on Jackson’s site.

Jackson announced last month via her site that she would trot out a new album — her first in seven years — near the end of the year. The yet-untitled album will be released by BMG via Jackson’s own record label, Rhythm Nation Records.

Might the new record be called “Conversations in a Cafe”?

That’s the hashtag she used in April, when she surprised her more than 3 million Twitter followers with a tweet that hinted a new album was in the works. She elaborated in a video linked out from the tweet, which was also autoplaying when fans accessed her website.

In the 30-second video — which featured a studio soundboard and a computer screen displaying her voice levels — the six-time Grammy winner says, “I promised you’d hear it from my lips. And now you will. This year. New music. New world tour. A new movement. I’ve been listening. Let’s keep the conversation going.”

Jackson, who has sold 160 million records worldwide, has not been in the spotlight much since releasing her 10th studio album, “Discipline,” in 2008.

Her brother pop icon Michael Jackson died in 2009. She starred the following year in Tyler Perry’s “Why Did I Get Married Too?” and in 2012 married her third husband, Qatari billionaire Wissam Al Mana.
