State police at Clearfield
- An incident of theft from a motor vehicle occurred Wednesday on Main Street in Bradford Township. During the incident, someone allegedly entered the victim’s vehicle and removed a bottle that contained 20 tramadol pills. The incident remains under investigation at this time, state police said.
Lawrence Township
- Police received a burning complaint that occurred on Robison Avenue.
- Police received a report about an alleged scam from a township resident.
- Police received a report about an alleged trespass incident on Coal Hill Road.
- Police received a report about an alleged neighbor dispute in Hyde.
- Police were requested to check the welfare of a female on Dorey Street Extension.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of harassment.
- Police received a report about a suspicious vehicle at the Super 8. Upon arrival police found a male who was tired and pulled over to rest.
DuBois City
- A 43-year-old Clearfield man who was operating a 1994 Ford Ranger was stopped for traffic violations Wednesday on Park Avenue. During the traffic stop, police found him to be under the influence of alcohol. He was arrested and taken to Penn Highlands DuBois for blood/alcohol content testing. Charges are pending toxicology results, police said.
- Police were dispatched to a medical emergency Wednesday on Chestnut Street. Police said that a female was transported by ambulance to Penn Highlands DuBois for treatment.
- Police were dispatched to an alleged incident of indecent exposure Wednesday in the 700 block of West Long Avenue. Police made contact with two juveniles who were “mooning” drivers, as they passed by their residence. Police notified the juveniles’ parents of the incident.
- Police were dispatched to a two-vehicle accident Wednesday at the intersection of South Main Street and Hospital Avenue. Further, a Dodge Caravan was traveling east on Hospital Avenue and its driver failed to stop for a GMC Jimmy stopped for a red light; it rear-ended the Jimmy, causing minor damage to both vehicles. Three passengers in the Dodge Caravan were transported to Penn Highlands DuBois for treatment, police said. Police were assisted at the scene by the DuBois Fire Department and DuSan Ambulance.
- Police were dispatched to an accident Wednesday in the area of Maple Avenue and South Sixth Street. Further, a 2015 Toyota Highlander was traveling east on Maple Avenue and stopped for a vehicle turning onto South Sixth Street. At the same time, a 2004 Ford Focus was traveling east on Maple Avenue, and its driver failed to see the stopped vehicle prior to striking it. The Focus was towed from the scene and no injuries were reported in the accident, police said.
- Police were dispatched to an alleged domestic disturbance Wednesday in the 300 block of South Jared Street. Police made contact with the couple and found that it was only verbal in nature. Police cleared without incident and advised the couple to quiet down.
