DUBOIS – District Judge Patrick Ford of DuBois presided over preliminary hearings May 29.
The following defendants waived their right to a preliminary hearing. Their cases will be sent to the Clearfield County Court of Common Pleas for further disposition.
- Joshua D. Cribbs, 33, DuBois, is charged by the DuBois City police with failure to perform services agreed upon and paid for in advanced, giving false statements to induce agreements for home improvement services, theft by deception and failure to make required disposition of funds. Bail was set at $5,000 unsecured.
- David A. Spuck, 61, DuBois, is charged by the Sandy Township police with driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance, resisting arrest, careless driving, disorderly conduct and one summary traffic charge. Bail was set at $2,500 unsecured.
- Kyle Robert Clyde, 21, Penfield, is charged by the Sandy Township police with DUI, careless driving, and driving at unsafe speeds. Bail was set at $1,000 unsecured.
- Robert G. Sharrer II, 31, Curwensville, is charged by the DuBois City police with aggravated assault, assault and harassment. Bail was set at $50,000 unsecured.
