State police at Clearfield
- An incident of theft by unlawful taking occurred May 21 on Trout Run Road in Goshen Township. During the incident, someone allegedly stole $356 in cash from the victim’s purse. The incident remains under investigation at this time, and anyone with information is asked to contact the state police at Clearfield at 814-857-3800.
- An incident of simple assault occurred Thursday on Schofield Street in Curwensville Borough. During the incident, a 37-year-old Curwensville man allegedly struck the victim, causing injury to her head and eye. The man was arrested and lodged in the Clearfield County Jail to await arraignment, state police said.
- An incident of harassment occurred Thursday at the Curwensville Moose on Bailor Drive in Curwensville Borough. During the incident, a male and female allegedly engaged in a physical altercation. One individual was struck twice in the face while inside the bar, which caused injuries. The incident remains under investigation at this time, and anyone with information is asked to contact the state police at Clearfield at 814-857-3800.

- State police at DuBois have located 16-year-old Daniel Jablonski, who was previously reported missing.
State police at Philipsburg
- An incident of criminal mischief occurred May 21 on North Ninth Street in Philipsburg Borough. During the incident, someone allegedly broke a first-floor window. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police at Philipsburg at 814-342-3370.
- An incident of criminal mischief occurred May 23 on Ira Lane in Halfmoon Township. During the incident, someone allegedly sprayed red paint on the roadway and in the yard. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police at Philipsburg at 814-342-3370.
Lawrence Township
- Police received a report about an alleged assault that occurred at a local establishment.
- Police received a report about an alleged theft of copper wire. The incident remains under investigation at this time, police said.
- Police received a report about an unattended child who was allegedly near a roadway. Further, police located the mother and returned the child home.
- Police received a report about the alleged theft of leased property.
- Police received a report about an alleged telephone scam.
- Police received a report about the alleged theft of services at the Lawrence Township Rec Park. Upon arrival police found that a female had allegedly put garbage in a dumpster without permission. Police would like to remind residents not to use dumpsters at other facilities without permission.
- Police received a report about a traffic hazard at the Clearfield Mall. Further, police said there was a malfunction with the traffic light.
- Police received a report about suspicious persons at the entrance of the Wal-Mart Supercenter. Upon arrival police made contact with an Arizona male who was allegedly panhandling. Police notified him of the complaint and asked him to leave the store.
- Police received a report about an alleged domestic disturbance involving a mother and son at a Fork Run Road residence. Upon arrival police found that a 22-year-old Clearfield man had allegedly assaulted his mother. He was taken into custody and transported to the Clearfield County Jail on charges of simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct. The man will be arraigned on charges on Friday.
- Police received a report about an alleged burglary at the Lawrence Park Village Apartments. The incident remains under investigation at this time, police said.
DuBois City
- Police were dispatched to a noise complaint Wednesday in the 500 block of South Avenue. Upon arrival police located a group of three men who were allegedly intoxicated in the cemetery. Police also allegedly found that a 45-year-old DuBois man was in possession of a controlled substance. Criminal charges will be filed on all three men, police said.
- Police were dispatched for a vehicle that was allegedly stolen from East Park Avenue on Wednesday. Upon arrival police found that the woman had forgotten what vehicle she had driven, and it was still parked where she had left it.
- Police were dispatched to a two-vehicle accident Wednesday at the intersection of Beaver Drive and Division Street. Upon arrival police found that a female passenger was in pain, and she was subsequently transported to Penn Highlands for further medical evaluation. Upon further investigation, police found that a Dufast bus with two passengers had struck the rear of a pick-up truck with two occupants. No citations were issued as a result of the accident, police said.
- On Wednesday police were dispatched to the 900 block of West Weber Avenue, where a male was allegedly intoxicated and attempting to leave in a vehicle. Upon arrival police were able to deter the male from driving. No arrests were made as a result of the incident, police said.
- Police were dispatched for a stray dog Thursday in the 900 block of West Weber Avenue. Further, a resident told police that a small, mixed-breed dog has been chasing others in the area and is lost too often. Police said that the dog eluded its capture; however, the owner was attempting to locate the dog. Police advised the owner that they will be cited for the violation.
- On Thursday a resident of West Scribner Avenue alleged that an unknown male had dropped off bags of garbage in front of his apartment building. Police were able to locate the male with a name and address.  Police said that the owner of the garbage will be cited for theft of services.
- Police were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident involving a bicyclist Thursday at the intersection of Brady Street and Long Avenue. Upon arrival police found that a 29-year-old DuBois woman was riding her bicycle across North Brady Street. At the same time, a vehicle operated by a 22-year-old Falls Creek man was turning onto North Brady Street when he failed to yield the right-of-way. His vehicle subsequently struck the bicyclist who was taken to the hospital for further medical evaluation.
- Police were dispatched to a two-vehicle accident Thursday at the intersection of Liberty Boulevard and Railroad Avenue. Upon investigation police found that a vehicle operated by a 75-year-old DuBois woman was rear-ended by a vehicle operated by a 27-year-old DuBois man. No injuries were reported and both vehicles were driven from the scene, police said.
- On Thursday police were dispatched to an alleged burglary that had previously occurred on Robinson Street. Upon arrival police found that someone had broken into a secured room and removed wine. A groundskeeper was in the area and assisted police in identifying a suspect; the incident remains under investigation at this time.
- On Thursday police were dispatched to the Morrison Street area for a person who was allegedly riding an all-terrain vehicle on the roadway. Upon arrival police advised the operator not to ride their ATV on the roadway.
Sandy Township
- On Wednesday a 68-year-old Juniata Street woman alleged that she received a phone call from someone claiming to be from the IRS. The caller related that she owed them money, and she was going to be put in jail if she didn’t pay it. She recognized this call as a scam, police said.
- Police were called to an alleged disturbance Wednesday at St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Further, a 46-year-old DuBois man was intoxicated and became agitated with family members when they tried to get him to go home. Police handled the situation without incident.
- On Thursday a 44-year-old Cayman Landing woman alleged that someone took the propane tank from her lot at Cayman Landing. The incident remains under investigation at this time, police said.
- On Thursday a 52-year-old DuBois woman alleged receiving a suggestive letter in the mail from an unknown man who is in the State Correctional Institution at Mercer.
- On Thursday a 57-year-old DuBois man alleged that he had put his dogs in the cages at the Beagle Club. When he went to check on them, police said that the cage doors were open and the dogs were gone. Police said that the dogs were later located loose in the area and returned to the owner.
- A Wilson Avenue resident reported Thursday that a bear was in the area and appeared to be sick. Upon police arrival, the bear ran into the woods. Police notified the Pennsylvania Game Commission of the incident.
- Police received a report about a juvenile who was allegedly riding an ATV on the road Thursday. Police located the juvenile and handled the situation without incident.
- A 48-year-old DuBois man fell asleep while driving Thursday on Larkeytown Road, causing his vehicle to travel off the roadway and into a ditch. His vehicle came to rest at the top of an embankment. No injuries were reported and the vehicle was towed from the scene, police said.
