CLEARFIELD – The Clearfield County DUI Strike Force will team up with members of the Buckle Up grant program in a joint enforcement effort in Clearfield County.
The events will include DUI roving patrols, as well as officers conducting traffic enforcement zones in search for drivers who are impaired and or not wearing proper restraint systems.
Statistics for 2014 show that there were 82 alcohol-related crashes, which 24 of those were not wearing seatbelts.
There were also 115 crashes alone in which restraint systems were not used in Clearfield County.
Police remind residents to buckle up and to not drive impaired.
