Richard A. Greendoner, 61, of Stronach died Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at the Penn Highlands Clearfield Hospital.
Born Oct. 15, 2015 in Lock Haven, he was the son of Richard F. and Martha Edna (Nihart) Greendoner.
Mr. Greendoner had been employed by Target/Bayer Clothing Group in the shipping department for more than 29 years. After that he had worked in maintenance for both County National Bank and Central Pennsylvania Community Action in Clearfield.
He was a life member of the Rescue Hose and Ladder Co. in Curwensville. He was a member of the Amalgamated Clothing and Textile Workers Union Local No. 118C.
On Aug. 21, 1982 in Curwensville, he wed the former Roberta “Robin” Bollinger. She survives along with a son, Anthony Greendoner of Greensburg; a sister, Sue Ellen Friberg of DuBois; a sister-in-law, Constance Greendoner of Hockessin, Del.; an uncle, Clyde Greendoner of Curwensville; an aunt, Donna Greendoner of Mill Hall; three nieces; and a nephew.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Michael B. Greendoner.
There will be no public visitation.
A memorial services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday at the West Branch Meeting Religious Society of Friends Meeting House in Grampian.
