State police at Clearfield
- An incident of terroristic threats was reported May 8 at the Curwensville High School. Neither teachers nor students were directly threatened. Upon investigation by school officials and state police, the threat was determined to be unfounded.
- On Thursday a 23-year-old Grassflat woman allegedly committed retail theft at the Sheetz store in Decatur Township. She allegedly fled the scene with a male in a known vehicle that was located on Route 53 in Morris Township. Upon search of the vehicle, state police allegedly found narcotics and drug paraphernalia. The woman was placed in the Clearfield County Jail by probation. The vehicle’s operator was taken into custody on a warrant and turned over to state parole to be incarcerated at the State Correctional Institution at Houtzdale. State police said the incident remains under investigation with charges pending at this time.
State police at Punxsutawney
- An incident of theft occurred sometime between Feb. 15 and May 1 at HRIN Storage in Rose Township. During the incident, someone allegedly removed three articles of motorcycle clothing from a rented storage unit. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police at Punxsutawney at 814-938-0510.
- An incident of harassment occurred May 16 on Ringgold Timblin Road in Ringgold Township. During the incident, a known 31-year-old Timblin man allegedly pulled a rug that the victim was standing on, which caused him to lose his balance.
Lawrence Township
- Police received a report about a lost, stolen or mislaid wallet at the Wal-Mart Supercenter.
- Police received a report about two suspicious persons who were allegedly soliciting for money at the Clearfield Mall intersection.
- Police received a report about two suspicious persons who were allegedly soliciting for a local power company. Police said although they were with a legitimate company, it’s still best not to provide any personal information.
- Police received a report about found property at the Kwik Fill in Golden Rod.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of physical harassment that occurred between two neighbors on Gravel Lane.
- Police received a report about a motorcycle accident that occurred on Race Street.
