John Clair Bailor, 53, of Curwensville, died Sunday, May 17, 2015 at his residence after a lengthy illness.
Born Feb. 13, 1962 in Elizabeth, NJ, he was the son of James and Deloris (Rowles) Bailor.
Mr. Bailor was a truck driver and worked for London Trucking. He was a former member of the Rescue Hose and Ladder Co.
Surviving are his partner of 21 years Doreen (Price) Fox; a son and daughter, Brandy Hummel and her husband, Mark of Philipsburg and Austin Bailor of Curwensville; two grandchildren, Caleb and Lexi Hummel; and two sisters and a brother, Sandy Maines and her husband, Ron of Osceola Mills and James Bailor Jr. and his wife, Tammy and Patricia Boal, both of Marion, NC.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Leslie R. Bailor Sr.
Funeral services for John Bailor will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home Inc. of Curwensville, with the Rev. David Hamilton officiating. Burial will be in the Thompson Cemetery, Glen Richey.
Friends will be received from 12 p.m. – 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
