State police at Philipsburg
- An incident of theft occurred May 5 on Curtis Street in Philipsburg Borough. During the incident, the victim allegedly authorized payment for magazines over the phone; the incident remains under investigation at this time.
State police at Punxsutawney
- An incident of theft occurred Wednesday at a bridge construction site along Route 219 in Burnside Township. During the incident, someone allegedly removed an orange Diamond portable concrete saw from an active work zone. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police at Punxsutawney at 814-938-0510.
- An incident of criminal trespass/harassment occurred Thursday on East Branch Road in Oliver Township. During the incident, a Punxsutawney male allegedly arrived at the victim’s residence to discuss an employment concern.

- Police received a report about a minor accident on River Road.
- Police received a report about the alleged unauthorized use of a vehicle. However, police found the incident was civil in nature.
- Police received a report about alleged sexual misconduct. Further, a juvenile was allegedly contacted online by a foreign male.
- Police received a report about suspicious activity in Hyde.
- Police were requested to check the welfare of a female on Clark Street.
- Police responded to an alleged burglary at a Charles Road residence. During the incident, someone allegedly entered the residence and removed various items. The incident remains under investigation, police said.
DuBois City
- Police were dispatched to a report about a female found lying in the roadway on Thursday. Further, a resident on West DuBois Avenue heard a female calling for help; when she exited her residence, she found a female lying in the roadway. She helped the female off the roadway and into her residence where she called for assistance. The female, police said, had minor facial lacerations, and her boyfriend reported she had jumped from a vehicle. Upon investigation police learned it was the female’s 21st birthday and she was heavily intoxicated. She was transported by ambulance for medical treatment; no citations have been issued yet, police said.
- On Thursday a South Highland Street woman contacted police about allegedly receiving harassing text messages and phone calls. She told police that the caller had knowledge of her family as well as other personal information. Police instructed the woman to contact her cell phone provider and report the harassment, as well. Police checked the area and attempted to contact the suspect; the investigation is ongoing, police said.
- Police were dispatched to Hoover Avenue for a vehicle fire on Thursday.  Further, fire units quickly arrived and extinguished the fire. Police said there weren’t any injuries as a result of the fire; however, the vehicle is believed to be a total loss.  Upon investigation police learned the vehicle was not in motion when it caught fire.
