State police at Clearfield
- An incident of criminal mischief occurred Tuesday on Pataky Street in Ramey Borough. Further, the victim alleged damage occurred to two pear trees. Upon investigation state police found two other plants were damaged at another location. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police at Clearfield at 814-857-3800.
- An accident occurred Monday on Walton Street in Chester Hill Borough. Ryan J. Mostyn of Philipsburg was traveling north and attempting to make a right-hand turn. A vehicle operated by Ryan L. Rittmeyer, also of Philipsburg, was traveling behind Mostyn. The Rittmeyer vehicle struck that operated by Mostyn on the left rear side, causing disabling damage. Upon impact the Mostyn vehicle spun in a clockwise motion and came to a final rest. No injuries were reported as a result of the accident, state police said.
- An incident of criminal mischief occurred Tuesday at the Bear Run Reservoir on Ridge Avenue in Pike Township. Further, the victim alleged damage to a bulldozer; the victim also alleged that the keys were taken. The incident remains under investigation, and anyone with information is asked to contact the state police at Clearfield at 814-857-3800.
- An incident of burglary/criminal trespass/theft by unlawful taking occurred sometime between May 9 and Tuesday at a camp on Sawmill Road in Penn Township. During the incident, someone allegedly entered the camp by force and attempted to open the rear door. They then allegedly opened a rear window to get inside the camp. Once inside they allegedly removed a circular saw, various tools, a 17-inch flat screen television, and a camera/receiver surveillance system. State police at DuBois
- An incident of simple assault occurred Tuesday on Route 255 in Sandy Township. During the incident, a known male and female allegedly assaulted each other. The male was taken into custody and transported to the jail to await arraignment; the female was cited for the incident, state police said.
Curwensville Borough
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of harassment by communications on Wednesday. Police warned the accused that any additional contact would result in criminal charges.
- A large black dog and a black/gray-colored pit bull were reportedly running loose in the Walnut Street area. Further, the pit bull reportedly chased a resident inside their home. The dogs were not located by police who warn residents that they are responsible for their animals’ actions. Residents were also reminded that dogs are not to be running loose and need to be on a leash.
- Curwensville Borough police and the Clearfield County Coroner’s Office have initiated an investigation into the death of a 2-year-old that occurred yesterday. Officials noted the investigation is pending an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
DuBois City
- On Tuesday police observed a male who was allegedly stumbling and falling to the ground several times in the parking lot of a business in the first block of North Park Place. Upon investigation police found the male was attempting to make his way into the business. Police also found that the male was allegedly under the influence of alcohol and released to his friends.
- Police responded to an alleged domestic dispute between a male and a female Tuesday in the 500 block of Clinton Avenue. Upon police arrival, the male actor had already left the scene. After speaking with the female victim, police determined the male pushed the female throughout the house.  As a result, the male will be cited for harassment, police said.
- On Tuesday police observed a suspicious juvenile female who was wrapped in a white sheet standing in the parking lot of the First Commonwealth Bank on North Main Street. After making contact, police determined that she was supposed to be at a residence next door. Upon further investigation, police located four individuals who were allegedly under the age of 21 years and who had been drinking at this residence. Police issued four underage drinking citations as a result of the incident.
- A three-vehicle accident occurred Tuesday in front of the Sheetz store on East DuBois Avenue.  Further, a vehicle operated by a 74-year-old Falls Creek woman rear-ended another operated by a 17-year-old DuBois girl. The girl’s vehicle then rear-ended another operated by a 73-year-old St. Marys woman. No injuries were reported and one vehicle was towed from the scene; charges are pending at this time, police said.
- On Tuesday police responded to the City Park for the alleged theft of medication. The victim told police that a male stole his medication out of his hand and fled the area. Police interviewed several people about the alleged incident, and they all denied any involvement. Police were unable to locate the stolen medication, and the incident remains under investigation at this time.
- On Tuesday police were stopped by a motorist who was concerned about a male who was walking near West Washington Avenue and allegedly smoking marijuana. After investigating the allegation, police determined that male was not smoking marijuana.
