State police at Clearfield
- An incident of disorderly conduct and public drunkenness occurred Tuesday on Railroad Street in Osceola Mills Borough. Further, a 40-year-old Osceola Mills man was allegedly intoxicated and passed out in a vehicle. He was also allegedly playing loud music, which caused a public annoyance.
State police at DuBois
- An incident of harassment occurred Tuesday on Ponderosa Drive in Huston Township. During the incident, a 29-year-old Brockway man allegedly kicked the victim in the side while the victim’s back was turned toward him.
State police at Punxsutawney
- An incident of harassment/trespassing occurred April 28 on Guzzo Road in Young Township. During the incident, two known Punxsutawney men allegedly engaged in a verbal altercation that turned physical. The incident remains under investigation at this time, state police said.
Lawrence Township
- Police received a report about two females who were allegedly being disorderly at a store on Daisy Street.
- Police received a report about a female who was allegedly being disorderly at a business at the Clearfield Mall.
- Police received an animal call that occurred on the Clearfield – Shawville Highway. Further, police said that a small dog was located and returned to its owner.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of harassment by communications. Further, a known male was allegedly making unwanted communications with a female. Charges are currently pending at this time, police said.
- Police received a report about an alarm on Route 879. Upon arrival police checked the building and found everything to be OK.
DuBois City
- Police were dispatched, along with the DuBois City Volunteer Fire Department, to a vehicle fire Monday on DuBois Street. Upon arrival police said that crews quickly extinguished the fire; no injuries were reported as a result of the fire. Upon investigation police learned that the vehicle was not in motion on a highway, and the cause of the fire was accidental.
- On Monday police were contacted by a 38-year-old Pittsburgh woman, alleging that her ex-husband, a 41-year old-DuBois man, had threatened her with a firearm the previous day while she was visiting their children. No injuries were reported and the incident in still under investigation at this time, police said.
- On Monday police were contacted by a West Weber Avenue resident, reporting that her 15-year-old daughter did not come home after school as instructed to do. Police said that a few hours later, the female returned home. Police counseled the female about running away and directed the parent to Children & Youth Services.
- A 57-year-old DuBois man reported an accident that occurred Monday on West Long Avenue. Police were subsequently contacted by the other party with concerns about the legitimacy of the man’s information. Police learned the man was operating an unregistered and uninsured vehicle. Citations will be issued against the DuBois man, police said.
- Residents in the 600 block of West Long Avenue summoned police Monday for an alleged property dispute. Police said that one neighbor recently installed a fence in accordance with ordnances; the other neighbor planted grass up against the fence. This, police said, upset the fence owner and the two argued about property lines. Police advised both parties to limit contact and to respect each other’s boundaries.
- Police were dispatched to the Locust Street area on Monday, where children were allegedly playing in the street and unsupervised. Upon arrival police found the children sitting on the porch. Police said that the children were accompanied by an adult and appeared not to be in any danger.
- On Tuesday police arrested a 21-year-old DuBois man for allegedly violating a Protection from Abuse (PFA) order. Police alleged that the man posted numerous derogatory comments about the protected individual on Facebook in violation of the court order. He was arrested without incident and arraigned before Magistrate Richard Ireland. The man was placed in the Clearfield County Jail in lieu of $5,000 straight bail.
- On Tuesday a 33-year-old Falls Creek man alleged having a personal check stolen from his girlfriend’s vehicle and then forged at a local convenience store. The check, police said, was passed without permission for $15 late last week.
- Police are investigating a hit-and-run accident involving a parked vehicle. Further, a 31-year-old DuBois woman parked her vehicle on South State Street near Rumbarger Avenue overnight. When she moved the vehicle, she found it had been struck buy another vehicle. The driver neither left information for her nor reported the accident to police. Police said that the woman’s car sustained moderate damage but was drivable.
- Police were dispatched to the area of West Long Avenue and Main Street to check the welfare of a female on Tuesday. Further, a Penfield man reported that his girlfriend was angry with him and not acting normal. Police spoke with the caller who added his girlfriend had been taken off of her medication by her doctor. He told police that she hadn’t made any threats to harm herself or others and was last seen walking down South Main Street. Police searched the area but were unable to locate the female to check her welfare.
- Police were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident Tuesday at the intersection of DuBois Avenue and DuBois Street. Upon arrival police determined that there weren’t any injuries and both vehicles were drivable. Additionally, both vehicles had stopped at the red light while traveling north on Route 219 when the large tractor-trailer drifted backwards and struck the vehicle stopped behind it. Police said the drivers exchanged information after the accident.
- On Tuesday a Reynoldsville man reported having his vehicle struck while parked on Chestnut Street the previous night.  The other driver failed to leave information or to report the accident to police. Police said the man reported minor damage as a result of the accident.
- Police were dispatched to the area of West Weber Avenue and Simmons Street for a single-vehicle accident on Tuesday. Upon arrival police determined that there weren’t any injuries; however, the vehicle was leaking fluids. Police also determined that the driver of the vehicle struck the concrete roadway, causing damage.
