DUBOIS – A DuBois woman is accused of hitting a man in the head with a pan.
According to an affidavit of probable cause filed with District Judge Patrick Ford’s office April 28, Lisa Marie Williams, 33, 122 W. Washington Ave, Apt. 6, DuBois, is charged by the DuBois City police with assault and harassment.
According to the affidavit, police were called to William’s apartment for fight April 27. When police arrived, they found the victim sitting in the kitchen, holding a towel to the left side of his head. Police saw that the towel was bloody and there was a significant amount of blood on the kitchen floor.
The victim allegedly said Williams had hit him in the head with a pan. The victim was taken to Penn Highlands DuBois for treatment.
The officers then spoke to Williams, who was allegedly attempting to clean up the blood in the kitchen. Williams allegedly told police that she had hit the victim, but she had done so because the victim had grabbed her by the neck and was choking her.
The officers noted they could not see any marks or signs of injury on Williams’ neck or chest. Police also learned that Williams had an active warrant through the Clearfield County Sheriff’s Office and Williams was taken to the police station for processing.
The officers also spoke to a witness to the incident. The witness allegedly told police that Williams had been arguing with the victim and had spit in the victim’s face several times. The witness allegedly told police that the victim attempted to push Williams away and Williams picked up the pan and hit the victim on the left side of the head.
