Constance Rose Stamm, 63, of State College died Friday, May 1, 2015 at the Mount Nittany Medical Center, State College.
Born Aug. 25, 1951 in Philipsburg, she was the daughter of the late Paul William and Marie Rose Gill Stamm.
Miss Stamm was a taxi cab driver from which she retired. She enjoyed the outdoors, gardening and doing crafts. Miss Stamm was devoted to her children and grandchildren.
She’s survived by two daughters, Kandy Bannon and her husband James of Reynoldsville and Peggy Maines and her husband, Andy of Philipsburg and a son, Stacy Stamm and his wife, Starlene of Lock Haven.
She’s survived by a sister, Gale Rearick and her husband, Bill of Port Matilda and four brothers, Paul Stamm and his wife, Linda, Roger Stamm and his wife, Madeline, Larry Stamm and Mickey Stamm, all of State College.
She’s also survived by 10 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Miss Stamm was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, David and Thomas Stamm.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Strange & Weaver Funeral Service, Morrisdale, with Pastor Earl R. Shawley officiating. Friends will be received from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
