Albert Leroy “Abe” Gray, 65, of Grampian died Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at his residence. Born Aug. 28, 1949 in Wallaceton, he was the son of the late James O. Sr. and Mary Hazel Gray.
He was a 1969 graduate of the West Branch Area High School, Allport. He was a former member of the Morris Township Volunteer Fire Co., Morrisdale. He had worked for Harbison-Walker and Corning Glass.
Mr. Gray enjoyed spending time with his daughter in Colorado. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and NASCAR fan.
He is survived by a daughter, Autumn Marie Gray of Colorado Springs, Colo.; nieces and nephews, Jennifer “Jenni” Marie Seshadri (Sud), Dale Baney Jr. (Kelli) and Christopher Gray (Janna); a sister, Nancy Baney of Osceola Mills; and a brother, James O. Gray Jr. (Barbara) of Munson.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Gray was preceded in death by a sister, Beverly Jean “Sis” Flood.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Strange & Weaver Funeral Home, Morrisdale, with the Pastor Tina Hawkins officiating.
There will not be any public visitation.
